Hi, my name is Beckie Martin. I am a Certified Moving Consultant for Continental’s Alaska office. I provide move consulting services for both residential (personal) moves as well as both corporate and government/military relocations. I started my career in the moving industry in June 1992 right here at Continental. I was here for 8 ½ years and then went to another company for 5 years. I gained insight on how other companies do things, but have to admit I jumped at the chance to come back to Continental when the owner approached me; it was a great honor for me to come “home” I have worked in several positions during my tenure in the moving industry; from a clerk typist, move manager, sales, claims settlement and have even assisted in dispatching and logistics Certified Moving Consultant since 1998 Ambassador award in 1998 Certified Claims Analyst with Advanced Training I have also completed several other industry training programs as on-going training is a must in our ever-changing world of technology, furniture construction, and service requirements. I am a proud mother of 2 children (1 daughter and 1 son). I have 2 grandsons; who are my pride and joy. I also have 11 Godchildren. I really enjoy watching kids grow and learn. I love to cook; it actually runs in my family. We love to cater weddings and no event goes without enough food to feed an army. I also like to camp, clam, and plant flowers.
