About Continental Alaska
If you are considering a move to, from, or within Alaska, you have come to the right place.
Continental began moving household goods to and from Alaska in 1951 when Alaska was still a US territory. Today, Continental continues to specialize in Alaska moving, utilizing State-of-the-art equipment and advanced technologies. But it is still Continental’s Alaska specialist employees who make all the difference. Continental knows Alaska and loves Alaska!
In Alaska, Continental represents United Van Lines, the largest Van Line in the US. Anchorage is the hub of our Alaska division. Shipments originating in any point in Alaska are coordinated by our Anchorage staff.
All shipments heading northbound are managed from our Alaska Port facility in Tacoma, WA. There our full time staff controls the routing, rating, and coordination of literally thousands of shipments each year.
Our Seattle facility includes our executive offices which provide HR, payroll, customer service, and accounting functions for the Continental organization.
Whether shipments are bound to the major cities of Alaska, such as Juneau or Anchorage, or are destined to a small native village or fishing town, Continental provides a seamless moving solution.
